According to reports from witnesses cited in local media reports, the confrontation escalated rapidly when the two accused students confronted the victim, accusing her of romantic involvement with one of their boyfriends. What began as a verbal argument quickly turned physical.
According to reports, the two students allegedly slapped the victim repeatedly, dragged her by her hair, and forcibly removed her school uniform and undergarments, leaving her completely naked in a semi-public area of the school compound. Bystanders, including other students, reportedly watched the incident unfold but did not intervene, fearing retaliation from the aggressors.
The victim, whose name has been withheld due to her status as a minor, was said to have been left visibly distressed and sustained minor bruises. It was not immediately clear whether school staff were present at the time of the incident or how long the assault lasted before it was halted.
According to the reports, the victim has since received medical attention and psychological support. Her family has reportedly declined to speak publicly but is said to be cooperating with local education authorities in Ghana .
Neither the Ghana Education Service (GES) nor the school’s administration had issued an official statement as of press time. However, sources indicate that the two accused students have been identified and are expected to face disciplinary action by the school authority, which could include suspension or expulsion, pending an internal investigation.
