Regina Daniels breaks down in tears, says ‘I will go back’

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, broke down in tears in a new video, expressing frustration and despair over ongoing family struggles, and shared a heartfelt post declaring, “I give up.”

In the video shared via her Instagram Story in the early hours of Friday, the actress said she was struggling emotionally and mentally.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said in the emotional clip.

The actress, who had earlier celebrated her parents’ reconciliation on Thursday, disclosed that her once-estranged parents reunited solely for her happiness.

Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.

She added that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention for days.

Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she stated.

In another video shared by Daniels, fellow actress, Mercy Johnson, was seen searching for Sammy.

Johnson could be heard saying, “He’s not here,” before adding that she would continue searching elsewhere.

Amid tears, Daniels expressed her frustration and hinted at returning to her husband

But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.

The emotional outburst comes weeks after Daniels hinted at experiencing domestic violence in her marriage.

On October 18, a viral video showed her in tears, surrounded by aides and family, saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

Nwoko later denied the allegations, claiming his wife’s outburst stemmed from “drug and alcohol abuse” and insisting she needed rehabilitation.

On Wednesday, Daniels released another video where she pleaded with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”

She also spoke emotionally about her sons, Munir and Khalifa, vowing to protect and raise them despite her marital troubles.

“I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,” she declared, adding that her family never approved of her marriage.
